Following its hugely successful concert performance in 2016, Roundabout Theatre Company has transferred this full-blown musical to Broadway. Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara will reprise her role as Lilli Vanesi, opposite Will Chase as Fred Graham. Scott Ellis, who helmed the 2016 benefit concert, will return to the production to direct and Warren Carlyle will return to choreograph this classic Cole Porter, Sam and Bella Spewack musical.

This revival didn't hold back, and earned itself four 2019 Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Musical, Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role, Best Choreography and Best Orchestration!

Fred Graham, a egotistical leading man, a director and producer is reunited with his ex-wife, Lilli Venassi, when they are both pitted to play opposite each other in a new production of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew.

As rehearsals and the production progress, the battle of sexes continues both on and off stage. Even though this couple claim to hate each other it becomes clear that perhaps they don't hate each other as much as they think they do, after all the line between hate and love is very close...

Alongside the bickering liaison of the two leads, Lois Lane the show's supporting actress, is trying to support her gambling boyfriend, Bill and his attempts to avoid the clutches of the local gangsters.
