The cinematic triumph on broadway!

It was only a matter of time before everyone's favorite homage to the 'city of angels' was transported from the screen to the stage. That's right, La La Land is destined to become Broadway's next big hit! It already has the makings of a theatre classic - incredible songs and dancing. Now we just need to see who will be cast as our leads, Mia and Sebastian

Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher is set to bring this cinematic masterpiece to live on stage. He has an impressive resume, including 2005's The Light in the Piazza (which was his Broadway debut), 2008's revival of South Pacific, 2015's The King and I, and 2018's To Kill A Mockingbird. He's certainly been very busy! He'll be joined by Pulitzer-prize winner Ayad Akhtar and Matthew Decker who will write the book for this movie adaptation.
