Eddie Izzard

Why see Eddie Izzard?

Eddie Izzard The Remix: The First 35 Years!

British comedian Eddie Izzard has been lauded as one of the most influential comics for over 25 years. Now, she returns to U.S. shores with 'Eddie Izzard The Remix: The First 35 Years' back on the road! Expect to hear some of her greatest comedy moments from legendary early shows, including 'Dressed to Kill,' 'Glorious,' 'Definite Article,' and more. Jeesy Chreesy!

Love, Death And Jazz Chickens!

In 2011 Izzard turned talking "bollocks" (a not-so-polite British word for nonsense!) into an art form, when she performed at and sold out Madison Square Garden in New York on her 'Stripped' tour, his 6th up until that date. Whimsical and surrealistic, educational and full of genuine heart and humor, Eddie is a consummate professional who can hold a room whether she's discussing getting lunch on the Death Star or the book of Genesis.

Brilliant and Excruciatingly Ironic

Rapid-fire patter, evocative characters (some familiar), edged with the currents of political and social life here in the US and in the chronically exiting Britain. Audience was rapt, responses hearty, and performance was a sheer delight. New York loves the Izzard. ... Read more

Suzy/Eddie -- Simply Magnificent!

She/he is a brilliant wit and masterful entertainer. The energy and animation displayed is as compelling and amusing as her/his offbeat and genius observations! Here in Denver on 10/31/23, this Remix show presented mostly new material with a much-appreciated flashback to a bit of the Star Wars canteen in the encore. BRAVO! ... Read more

Quite surprised there's no reviews posted about this show. I've been an Eddie Izzard fan since 98 or 99 when I first saw Dress to Kill. It was and still is the best stand up act I've ever seen. I saw him a few years back at the Taft and loved it, but my seats were crap. This time I made certain I was right up front. Great show. My cheeks and belly hurt from laughter . The bit about Welsh and Indian accents really had me going. I had tears!!!!!! I always said that if I became terminally ill ( I'm a morbid cow), I would want to meet this man and I thought maybe it would happen during the Q & A session afterward , but no such luck . The man is my idol! Great show Eddie!!! Thanks for passing through . Hope to see ya again . ... Read more
