Founded by entertainment mogul Jarrod Moses and comedy champion Caroline Hirsch in 2004, the New York Comedy Festival highlights the best and brightest of the comedy world, often showcasing over 200 performers in over 60 different shows, from good old fashioned stand-up comedy to podcasts, panels and more! Perpetual man child and often shirtless performer Bert Kreischer joins the prestigious festival's star-studded roster for one night only at Town Hall New York.
Kreischer first got a foot hold in as a funnyman when Rolling Stone published an article about him in 1997, dubbing him Florida State University's 'Top Partier'. Initial accolades aside, the stand-up really made a name for himself in the Big Apple's comedy scene, rising up the ranks to host TV shows Hurt Bert and Trip Flip, as well as appear on the Late Show With David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan, WTF With Marc Maron and The Joe Rogan Experience amongst other talk shows and podcasts. An animated storyteller, his rib-tickling tales are equal parts outrageous, hilarious, unbelievable and totally true.
