Why see Kristin Chenoweth?

The Inimitable Kristen Chenoweth is Queen of the Biz

Emmy and Tony Award winner and Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee Kristin Chenoweth effortlessly transitions between stage, television and film with the captivating grace that only she can project.

The diminutive actress first turned heads on Broadway since the Spring of 1997, appearing in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown (her Tony-winning performance) amongst other big shows. Last year saw her nominated for for a Tony Award for her starring role in On the Twentieth Century opposite Peter Gallagher. Since then she's been in the studio familiarising herself with classics from the American Songbooks, resulting in the release of her most recent record 'The Art of Elegance' sharing favorites old and new, delivered in her unqiue style!

BLONDE AMBITION

After taking a break to pursue her singing and TV career, Ms. Chenoweth really cemented her stardom in the theatre world by returning to Broadway as the first ever Glinda in the Tony-winning musical Wicked. She was nominated for the Best Leading Actress in a Musical Tony Award in the 2004 ceremony, but lost to her co-star Idina Menzel who played Elphaba.

She also received rave reviews while starring in the ABC series Pushing Daisies, where she received an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and more recently sang up a storm on the hit TV show Glee and starred in the amazing live broadcast of Hairspray on NBC.

Kristin Chenoweth Never disappoints!

KC is a powerhouse, an enigma! She has the voice of an angel while being funny and supportive to everyone on stage. If you have never seen her show it’s a must. She invites you into her life, through music, humor and generosity singing a variety of songs from her albums. This past Saturday she invited Steven Schwartz( wicked, Godspell etc..) to debut a song from his new musical she’s starring in and heading to Broadway next spring”The Queen of Versailles “.It was exciting, beautiful, melodic and meaningful and sung by KC,a seasoned theatre icon. She and her husband Josh Bryant teamed up for a new number that focused on his skillful guitar intro but I’d love to see them do Jim Croce’s “ time in a bottle”.They are magic together.KC changes her show every time I’ve seen her and her music is eclectic and appeals to everyone. She shares the stage with her musicians, acknowledges their accomplishments. She is a musician, comic and wonderful entertainer and I never miss her if she’s in town. ... Read more

What a Night

Having first seen Kristin sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, I was fascinated with her amazing voice and energy. Since then, I have obtained her cd’s and listen to them while driving. My wife and I jumped at the chance to see her in person and we can’t wait to see her again. She is funny, dynamic and what a voice with such amazing range. The love for family, humanity and the joy of using her talents to make people happy is so genuine. ... Read more

Well, except for the brand and style of the heels she was wearing. I need a pair of my own! ... Read more
