The first production images of Kit Connor (Heartbreaker, Rocketman) and Rachel Zeglar (West Side Story, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) in Romeo + Juliet have been released. Check them out below!

The fresh take on the Shakespeare classic Romeo & Juliet', directed by Sam Gold, began performances last night (September 26) at the Circle in the Square Theatre. Opening night is set for October 24 and will run through until February 16, 2025. Golden Globe winner Rachel Zegler will play the part of Juliet, sharing the stage will be Emmy winner Kit Connor. The star-studded crew does not end there, with the music created by Bleachers frontman and frequent Taylor Swift and The 1975 collaborator Jack Antonoff.

Kit Connor and Rachel Zeglar are joined by a stellar cast consisting of: Gabby Beans as Mercutio, Tommy Dorfman as The Nurse/Tybalt, Nihar Duvvuri as Balthazar, Sola Fadiran as Capulet/Lady Capulet and Taheen Modak as Benvolio.
