Images have finally been released for the highly anticipated McNeal starring Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man, Oppenheimer), and Hold On To Me Darling starring Adam Driver (Marriage Story, Ferrari). Both highly anticipated productions hitting New York stages this October - check out the images below.
The first production images for McNeal, starring Robert Downey Jr., have finally been released. Written by Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar, this production is currently in previews and will open at the Vivian Beaumont Theater on September 30 and run through to November 24. Downey Jr. makes his Broadway debut as Jacob McNeal, a celebrated author who develops an insatiable obsession with Artificial Intelligence. However, behind the scenes of his career, his personal life is far from perfect; he has a strained relationship with his estranged son and a freshly penned novel that is certain to stir up old grudges. The cast also features Ruthie Ann Miles, Andrea Martin, Saisha Talwar, Rafi Gavron, Brittany Bellizeare, and Melora Hardin, with Tony winner Bartlett Sher directing. Grab your tickets here.

Meanwhile, Off-Broadway's revival of Kenneth Lonergan's Hold On to Me Darling began performances at the Lucille Lortel Theatre this week, with an official opening set for October 16 and ending on December 22. Adam Driver stars as country music icon Strings McCrane, who returns to his small Tennessee hometown after his mother's death; the play is said to be a humorous and poignant exploration of celebrity. The cast includes Heather Burns, Adelaide Clemens, Keith Nobbs, CJ Wilson, and Frank Wood, with Neil Pepe directing. Grab your tickets here.
