Bryan Cranston is ELECTRIC on Broadway!

Nominated for five 2019 Tony Awards!

Undoubtedly one of 2017's biggest draws when it premiered in London, the riveting stage adaptation of the landmark 1976 film looks set to repeat that success as the play takes up residence on Broadway this winter, with original star Bryan Cranston once more at the reigns as the iconic Howard Beale, a dangerously disenfranchised anchorman, in the role that earned him an Olivier Award.

A chilling black comedy, Network is the story of newsreader Howard Beale who becomes increasingly outraged with the way that proper 'news' is devolving into a circus. After being fired following ailing ratings, Beale's desperation leads him to deliver the rant of his career, threatening a bloody outcome to his final broadcast. Whilst planning his on-air suicide, ratings go sky high in this cautionary tale of anger and exploitation.

Recognised as one of the greatest screenplays of all time, Network's seemingly prophetic message of frustration at modern society and media puppetry for profit only gains significance as the years pass, This innovative new production is adapted by Lee Hall, with direction from the highly critically acclaimed Ivo Van Hove whose works have from London to Broadway and back again with increasing speed over the last few years.

From Bad to Mad

Emmy, Tony and Olivier-winning Bryan Cranston is well known across the world as beleaguered drug lord Walter White in the hit series Breaking Bad, but has been working steadily across the world of stage and screen for over 30 years as an actor, director, and screenwriter. He was last seen on the Great White Way in 2014 when he took home the Tony Award for Best Actor for his performance as Lyndon Johnson in All The Way.

Amazing Theater

This show is exciting, pulsing with energy and stars the brilliant Bryan Cranston, who gives another award- worthy performance in his long career of collecting them for his work in theater, TV and movies. One of my best evenings in theater this season, which has provided many excellent shows. Wonderful cast and amazing staging with the latest in technology dazzle the audience, which is also brought intimately into the show with Mr.Cranston taking a seat in the front row at one point and chatting "intimately" with theater goers. That's when he's not running up and down the aisles. Adult theater, don't take the kiddies, but recommend to all relatives and friends. I have. ... Read more
