Why see Little Shop Of Horrors?

Feed Me, Seymour!

Don't miss your local production of this comedy caper!

When flower store assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles upon a very strange new plant species, he has high hopes that his discovery will lead to fame, fortune and the heart of his unrequited crush, Audrey. But Seymour gets a whole lot more than he bargained for from this exotic foliage. After an accident, the cute little Audrey II (named for his beloved) develops an insatiable thirst for human blood and a set of R&B singing pipes, leading Seymour to turn serial killer to keep his secret from bursting out of Skid Row and endangering the whole human race. Think Groot, but with a carnivorous appetite!

Hilarious, charming and full of toe-tapping number from Disney songwriter Alan Menken, Little Shop of Horrors is an entertaining pastiche of the Sci-Fi B movies of the 1950s, with an outlandish villain, a bubbly blonde and a shambling everyman who's gotta save the world and get the girl.

Must See!

Little Shop of Horrors at the Guthrie in Minneapolis is a five-star delight! The cast, led by the incredible voices and performances of Will Roland and China Brickey, shines brightly. The beautifully crafted set that also perfectly complements the Minnesota vibe with Audrey 2 resembling the Corpse Flower. Don't miss this fantastic production before it wraps up in August - highly recommended! ... Read more

Fabulous entertainment

From the sets to the music, acting and incredible singers voices, LHOH doesn't miss a beat. The entire audience was locked in from start to finish, and the buzz while leaving the Guthrie was loud and clear. Just a great, great performance for what is truly a very odd story. But a wonderful escape from the reality of the Biden/45 debate a night later. ... Read more
