Be More Chill Announces Closing Date

The off-Broadway hit Be More Chill has announced that they will be closing its Broadway run on August 11. Written by Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz Be More Chill opened at the Lyceum Theatre on March 10 after a sold-out off-Broadway run in 2018.
At the time of closing Be More Chill will have played 30 previews and 177 regular performances. The musical had a long road to Broadway after debuting 'out of town' in 2015 and going fairly unnoticed, however, after its debut Be More Chill became a streaming sensation will their original cast recording hitting one hundred million album streams!
Directed by Stephen Brackett Be More Chill stars Will Roland as Jeremy, Tiffany Mann as Jenna, Britton Smith as Jake, Jason Tam as The Squip, Gerard Canonico as Rich, Katlyn Carlson as Chloe, Stephanie Hsu as Christine, Lauren Marcus as Brooke and George Salazar as Michael.
What is Be More Chill about?
Based on the 2004 novel by Ned Vizzini, Be More Chill tells the story of school loser Jeremy Heere as he strives to become one of the popular kids, by ingesting a pill-sized computer that instructs him in the ways of 'cool'.
Be More Chill is now playing at the Lyceum Theater through to August 11.
