Emmy nominee and American actress Elle Fanning is making her Broadway debut, joining the cast of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' play 'Appropriate,' alongside Emmy winner Sarah Paulson and Golden Globe nominee Corey Stoll. The Broadway play will be at the Hayes Theater, beginning on November 29th 2023.

Born Mary Elle Fanning, Elle began her acting career when she played the role of the younger version of Lucy Diamond Dawson in the film 'I Am Sam,' a character portrayed by her older sister Dakota Fanning, who has also had a successful acting career. As a child actress, she appeared in many films, including 'Daddy Day Care' with Eddie Murphy, 'Babel,' 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' and many more. She gained recognition after starring in the science fiction film 'Super 8.' However, most of us know her for her role as Princess Aurora in the Walt Disney live-action films 'Maleficent' and 'Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,' alongside Academy Award-winner Angelina Jolie. Her recent project from 2020 to 2023 was the Hulu series 'The Great,' where she played Catherine the Great and received nominations for two Golden Globe Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award.
