Lizzy McAlpine and Jeremy Jordan Cast In Broadway’s Floyd Collins

The Broadway run of Floyd Collins has announced the cast for the upcoming show. Jeremy Jordan and Lizzy McAlpine are among the names announced.
Jeremy Jordan will be playing the lead role of Floyd Collins, a Kentucky cave diver who gets stuck underground. Jordan is best known for his standout roles in Broadway musicals like Rock Of Ages and Bonnie & Clyde, he has also made notable appearances in television, particularly as Winn Schott on Supergirl. Lizzy McAlpine will be playing the role of his sister Nellie Collins. McAlpine has shot to fame via Tiktok and the release of her track Ceilings'. She has now collaborated with Noah Kahan and Role Model and is a solidified name in the indie singer-songwriter scene.
The rest of the leading cast is as follows: Jason Gotay as Homer Collins, Marc Kudisch as Lee Collins, Sean Allan Krill as HT Carmichael, Wade McCollum as Bee Doyle, Jessica Molaskey as Miss Jane, and Taylor Trensch as Skeets Miller.
The production follows the true story of Floyd Collins. In Kentucky 1925, a cave explorer by the name of Floyd Collins went on a journey with the hopes of bringing the joy of the underground to the world. Tragedy struck, and Collins was trapped in one of the caves. His situation was quickly sensationalized by the media as heroic efforts were made to rescue him.
