Paul Mescal And More Cast For Merrily We Roll Along Movie!

Further casting for the upcoming Merrily We Roll Along' Movie has been announced.
The film will be based on the 1981 Stephen Sondheim and George Fruth musical and will be directed by Richard Linklater (Boyhood, Before Sunrise, Dazed and Confused). Similar to Linklater's seminal piece Boyhood', the movie adaption of the musical will be shot in real-time, meaning a filming process of approximately 20 years.
A large portion of the casting has been announced; Paul Mescal (Normal People, Gladiator II) will play Franklin Shepard, Hannah Cruz (Suffs, Hamilton) will portray Mescal's onscreen wife Gussie Carnegie, Ben Platt (Dear Evan Hansen) will play Charley Kringas and Beanie Feldstein (Booksmart, Ladybird) will play Mary Flynn.
Although exciting news, don't hold your breath for its release as it's been expected to finish filming in the early 2040's.
