Wayne Brady and Taye Diggs Will Return to Broadway in Moulin Rouge! The Musical

The stars will share the stage of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre this summer!
Broadway's getting a double shot of star power this summer as stage and screen legends Wayne Brady and Taye Diggs step into the glittering world of Moulin Rouge! The Musical. The pair will take on the roles of Harold Zidler and The Duke of Monroth, lighting up the Al Hirschfeld Theatre starting July 22.

Brady is no stranger to the Broadway stage, with turns in Kinky Boots, Chicago, The Wiz, and Freestyle Love Supreme. Off-Broadway, he's wowed audiences in Hamilton, Rent, and more - all while hosting Let's Make a Deal and charming fans on Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Diggs made his Broadway debut as Benjamin Coffin III in Rent, followed by roles in Chicago, Wicked, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. On screen, he's starred in Private Practice, All American, The Best Man, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, and The Wood, just to name a few. He currently stars in Terry McMillan Presents: Forever on Lifetime.

The year is 1900 and Christian, a young poet and talented writer has come to Paris to pursue a career and become a member of the Bohemian movement there. Christian ends up falling hopelessly in love with Satine, the star of the infamous Moulin Rouge, however, Satine has already been promised to the unscrupulous Duke. A love triangle ensues, as Christian and Satine try to stay together against all odds they are led down a dark and dangerous path but Satine is holding a terrible secret of her own...
