The Off-Broadway monstrous musical is sprouting new life on stage! Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer, Little Shop of Horrors has announced its new star-studded leads. Sarah Hyland, known for her role in Modern Family, and Andrew Barth Feldman, acclaimed for his performance in Dear Evan Hansen, will take on the iconic roles of Audrey and Seymour, respectively. The production is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at The Westside Theatre.

About Little Shop of Horrors

Little Shop of Horrors first premiered Off-Broadway in 1982, garnering acclaim for its blend of humor, horror, and memorable music. Since then, it has become a global phenomenon, with productions across Broadway, the West End, and beyond.

Now, under Mayer's direction, the musical returns to its Off-Broadway roots, and tells the tale of Seymour, a floral shop worker who discovers a mysterious and carnivorous plant, Audrey II, which brings him fame but demands a gruesome price for its care. As Seymour's relationship with Audrey II grows, he must confront the plant's insatiable hunger and his moral dilemmas to save himself and the woman he loves!

About The Cast

Winner of the Screen Actors Guild Award, Hyland made her Broadway debut in Grey Gardens and has had several notable film roles, such as the remakes of Annie and Dirty Dancing on ABC. Feldman, who won praise for playing Evan Hansen, is known for his abilities as a versatile actor, singer, and musician.

Tony Award nominee Kevin Del Aguila will join the cast on May 14 and James Carpinello, who will remain in his role as Dr. Orin Scrivello D.D.S., will accompany them on stage. Actors Aaron Arnell Harrington, Tiffany Renee Thompson, Morgan Ashley Bryant, Khadija Sankoh, and others are part of the ensemble cast.
